Ingrown toenails develop when the corner or side of your toenail grows into the soft flesh. You’ll know that you have an ingrown if you notice pain, redness, swelling and, sometimes, an infection in the affected toe. If you have any pain or signs of an ingrown, it is important to seek professional advice and treatment.

  • Corns/ Calluses

When repetitive pressures are placed on your foot, they can lead to an increase of more skin layers. Calluses and corns are an accumulation of skin that hardens and thickens, sometimes cracking and/or causing pain. Callus refers to diffuse, flattened area of thick skin, while a corn is a deeper, localized area that usual has a circular shape or bump.

  • Routine Foot Care

As we age toenails become difficult to cut, callus builds up, or health conditions may require professional foot care to prevent pain or infection. Regular care for your feet is important to maintain your mobility and independence.

  • Wart Treatments

Warts can appear on various parts of the body and are particularly common on the feet in the form of plantar warts. Warts (verruca) are caused by Human Papilloma Virus and can spread to other areas of the body as well as other people.

  • Fungal Toenail Treatments

Similar to warts, a nail fungus is often picked up at public gyms, showers and swimming pools, but can also occur if you don’t dry your feet off thoroughly, or wear ill-fitting shoes that don’t allow your feet to breathe. It starts with a small white/yellow discoloration of the nail, and if left untreated can spread to the other toenails. We offer prescription options as well as Toe FX treatment.
